Terms of use

These terms cover your use of Vidtrip and any plan you buy. By using the site, you agree to them.

The service

Vidtrip creates day-by-day trip plans from YouTube travel videos with an AI model. Each plan comes with a free preview. The full plan, with its PDF and map file, is a paid purchase.

Purchases

  • Each plan is a one-time purchase of $4.99. There's no subscription, and paying for one plan doesn't unlock any other.
  • Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Dodo handles any tax that applies, issues your receipt and may show the price in your local currency.
  • A purchase gives you the full plan in the browser where you made it, plus the PDF and the map file, which you can download again from that browser.
  • Refunds are covered by the refund policy.

Your plan is stored in your browser

Vidtrip keeps no copy of your plan. If you clear your browser's data, the plan can't be recovered, and a trip link opens only in the browser that made the plan. Download the PDF to keep a copy. The privacy policy has the details.

AI-generated plans can be wrong

Plans are written by an AI model from the video's captions and description, and they can contain mistakes: places that have closed or moved, wrong opening hours, prices or travel times, and details the model misread or made up. Ratings, hours and photos come from Google Maps when the plan is unlocked and can go out of date.

Check opening hours, prices, bookings and transport before you rely on them, and use your own judgment about safety. A plan isn't professional travel, legal, medical or safety advice.

The videos you submit

Submit only public YouTube videos. You're responsible for the links you submit and for how you use the plans made from them. Videos belong to their creators. Vidtrip reads a video's public information to write a plan and links back to the video; it doesn't copy or host the video itself.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Vidtrip: no automated bulk requests, no attempts to get around payment or tamper with an encrypted plan, and nothing that disrupts the site for others. We may block requests that do.

No affiliation

Vidtrip isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube, Google or Apple, or by the creators of the videos it plans from. YouTube and Google Maps are trademarks of Google LLC. Apple Maps is a trademark of Apple Inc.

Other services

Plans link to Google Maps, Apple Maps and YouTube, and the trip map uses tiles from OpenFreeMap. Those services have their own terms, and Vidtrip isn't responsible for their content or availability.

Limitation of liability

Vidtrip is provided as is. We work to keep plans accurate and the site available, but we can't promise that every plan is correct or complete, or that the site will always work.

As far as the law allows, Vidtrip isn't liable for losses that come from relying on a plan, such as missed reservations, closed venues or extra travel costs, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the plan involved. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
